 THE ANHUMAS PRICIPICE
The Anhumas precipice, as its name suggests, is an
underground cave. To reach the lake, which is 72 m bellow
the surface, the only entrance is by rappel. In its
crystalline water it is possible to dive up to 20 m deep.
For taking this tour one must be trained a day before.

 RAFTING IN THE RIO FORMOSO
A 7 km boat tour in the Rio Formoso with up to 12 people in
each boat, three rapidses and three waterfalls, can be a lot
of fun. At its margins one can observe monkeys, capivaras
and several kinds of wild animals and birds. With luck one
can see alligators, tapir and sucuris (serpent).

 FLOATTING CROSS
It is an exiting adventure at the rapids and waterfalls of
Rio Formoso/Formosinho, in individual float, accompanied by
experienced instructors. Visitors will have the opportunity
of observing hundreds of beautiful fishes and a natural
underwater flora. At the end of this attraction everybody
walks back through a forestry trail. Visitors will, also,
have the opportunity of swimming in Formoso/Formosinho
rivers.

 YBIRA PE CANOPY TOUR BRASIL
In Tupi-guarani (indigenous language) it means -trail on the
trees. Canopy Tour Ybira Pe provides to the visitors the
opportunity of observing the wild life in the perspective of
the birds, in other words, in the top of the trees. "Arborismo",
which means - walking among trees" is practiced in several
crossings on native trees as California pepper tree, balsam,
peroba among others. The crossings arrive at platforms

 BIKING IN THE RIO SUCURI
Located in the São Geraldo Farm, bike riding at the margins
of Rio Sucuri takes 02 hours in the middle of the jungle.
This tour offers the possibility of observing wild animals
as monkeys, coatis, toucans, macaws, -seriemas- among others,
besides the beautiful trees of the region.

Cave
 CAVE OF LAGO AZUL
It is considered one of the most marvelous natural caves in
the world. After reaching the lake, which is 100 m bellow
the earth surface, the visitor will observe all its
beautifulness with its blue water. Nobody knows, for sure,
from where its water comes from. It is believed that there
is a subterranean river that feeds the lake.

The cave of Sao Miguel, is located in the Valley of Anhumas
Ecological Park. Before reaching the cave entrance one has
to travel across a 180 m long suspended trail. This cave is
considered to be one of the most ancient in our planet. This
cave is rich in calcareous formation such as stalactites and
stalagmites.

 RIO DA PRATA

 BOCA DA ONÇA

 ANIMAL’S TRAIL
A ride through the ciliary woods crossing flooded areas and

emus and serpents.

 BURACO DAS ARARAS
Ride around a 124 m deep and 500 m in diameter calcareous
depression which enables a panoramic vision of its interior,

Since each attraction has a maximum number of visitors per
day, tour reservation should be made in advance.
Visitors must be
aware of all the attractions offered in a tour before

Price varies
according to the activities of each tour. Price of the
Touristic Guide is already included in the price of the
attraction. However, visitors transfer to the visiting
attraction places that are located out of the city limits is
not included in the attraction price.
According to the
municipal district laws, for the tour to take place, it is
mandatory that the visitors be accompanied by a local
Touristic Guide authorized by the Brazilian Tourism
Institute (EMBRATUR) and registered in the city hall.
Any tour reservation
has to be done in a local tourism agency. These agencies are
responsible for the attraction and for the tour reservation,
setting up the contract between the visitors and the
touristic guide.
In some attractions visitors will not be allowed to use
solar protector and insect repellent for the conservation of
water and fishes.
